Weight Loss

Wow, am I in a grouchy mood today. No soda, my iPhone died this morning, uncertain weather and boot camp tonight. In the grand scheme of things, stuff like this doesn’t even register as a blip on the radar. But today I am feeling foul-tempered.

I am sticking to my plan; I’m just grumpy about it. So I will keep this short and sweet sour. Some days, the joys of weight loss just aren’t enough to make me crack a smile—what can I say? Knowing that one day I will be a fierce, sleekly muscled bad-ass does not make today any easier.

In the end, it doesn’t matter how I feel. It matters what I do.

Yesterday was the same for me. It helped a lot to blog about it. I listed all the good things that happened:)

One day you will definitely be a a fierce, sleekly muscled bad-ass who occassionally has bullshit days and barks at the world and doesn’t want to do what she has to do.

As much as things change, lots stays the same. You’re still you, just smaller and healthier and with a heaping amount of self respect. It doesn’t mean that you’re always going to have sunshine shooting out of your ass! You’re losing weight, you’re not becoming a fairy!

I guess what I’m saying is that you’re right, it’s not how you feel it’s that you just do what needs to be done….and if that means you do it while being crabby then that’s how you do it and the rest of the world can pound it if they don’t like it.

    :)

I was feeling the exact same way today and yesterday! I realized that if I only ate healthy when I felt like it, I would never do it at all!!!

I agree with it matters what you do, but sometimes how we feel really effects what we do. Just keep thinking the positive thoughts and I’m sure it will happen for you. I’m actually telling you this so I can remember this myself because the last few days have been less than a joy. Must be all of this winter weather or something. I’m so ready for Spring!

Venting is definitely allowed. You’ve earned it with all your hard work!
